Sometimes Losing Is Winning

Winning an argument does not always make you a winner. Life is not always about finishing first. There are times when finishing is simply a matter of putting one foot in front of the other as many times as is needed to cross the finish line. And sometimes losing an argument may just mean a happier marriage. And that makes everyone a winner.
The need to appear to be right often leads one to looking foolish. Those who truly are right, more often than not, have learned that by accepting that they are not always right. There is a certain strength that comes from knowing you are right, but not feeling the need to insist on it.
